欢迎来到博士. 佩吉·莫兰, Director of the 音乐学院

We would like to welcome Dr. 佩吉·莫兰, the new Director of the 音乐学院! Dr. Moran joins ISU from the University of Central Oklahoma 音乐学院, where she was Assistant Director. She is also the Executive Director at Cormont 音乐, a non-profit organization that runs the Kendall Betts Horn Camp, a premiere summer learning program for horn players in New Hampshire. Dr. Moran has performed in orchestras, 室内乐, and solo recitals with leading ensembles such as the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Louisville Orchestra, and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Committed to commissioning and performing music from a diverse set of composers, she founded the group Corni Angelicus, an ensemble of four horns and a rhythm section that has performed new music throughout the Midwest. Dr. Moran has a Bachelor’s degree in 音乐 from the University of Chicago, and Master of 音乐 and a Doctorate of 音乐 degrees from Indiana University Bloomington.

Notice of 教师 Vacancy

The 音乐学院 is seeking a Professional 音乐ian-Private Teacher/Percussion Instructor. A completed Doctorate (or ABD status) in 音乐 Percussion Performance or related music field is preferred and a Master’s degree is required. The candidate must have a record of success in teaching collegiate level percussion students and percussion/steel drum ensembles. Screening begins July 24 and the position begins August 15, 2024. Join us for an exciting event featuring the renowned leadership expert, Dr. 蒂姆Lautzenheiser. This in-person event provides an opportunity for young high school musicans and music educators to explore concepts of leadership in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. Guests will spend part of the day on the beautiful Indiana State University campus and work with guests, Dr. 蒂姆Lautzenheiser, Executive Director of Attitude Concepts, Inc.，先生.
